Girls are the most victim to education in Africa, some contributing factors are a result of civil conflicts, poverty, cultural or traditional practices, domestics violence, sexual discrimination and harassment, poor infrastructure, and gender bias. Girls are forced to early teenage marriage and parenting in some African countries due to traditions and financial instability with Liberia not excluded. Child marriage is another serious challenge because these girls start having kids at early ages between 12 to 14. HEAL developed strategies to help improve education by Removing the barriers to school, promoting safe and inclusive schools, providing scholarship opportunities for quality education, developing skills and empowering girls and other less privilege in society.
